Teligence Connectors Hit It Out of the Park

The Teligence Connectors entered this weekend’s playoffs only one point behind the leader. Saturday was a grueling day, with three games back-to-back. We one the first by one, lost the second by one, and killed in the third with a decisive 15-7 victory, leaving us perfectly poised for Sunday’s final game.

Down in the scoring but undeterred by Sunday’s rain and muddy conditions, we rallied in the 6th inning to close at a tie. Even though our worthy opponents, the Swingers, scored three runs in the extra inning, we were set to overtake them with two runs in and two on base. Unfortunately, skillful pitching bested our batter and the game closed at 12-11, thus ending our run to the finals and the softball season.

Tough way to go down, but what a great run (no pun intended). Thanks to all our players and everyone who cheered us from the sidelines. We couldn’t have done it without you!
